Beauty is found in our character and personalities. When we’re kind, honest, gentle, loving, happy, generous, genuine, real, confidence etc. We becomes more and more beautiful. This is the kind of person we want to spend our time with and become. They make us better for knowing them. I’m not saying to use them but they just seem to bring the good out, in us all. This kind of person is like China, handcrafted, hand painted and unique.
Outer beauty without inner beauty, is vain and empty, pointless. This idea that being perfect on the outside is what matters, is wrong. When we allow ourselves to believe this, we’re failing ourselves every time. Plastic beauty is meaningless and will never last. It’s shallow, disposable, fake, selfish, unkind, dishonest, rude etc. When we only focus on our outward appearance we will lose our inner selves.
We need to find a happy middle. Every china tea cup is different, some are painted, others are simple, others have beauty marks. They are each beautiful, different and unique. Each cup has a different story to tell.
We can be beautiful on the inside and just as beautiful on the outside. We all need to take care of our bodies and take time to look our best but it’s not the most important thing in the world. God, people, our souls are what’s important. Remember everyone is different and that’s okay. We all have different stories. We are each beautiful and wonderful!
