Hello my lovely friends. Today’s challenge is to write a poem about a minor character from a fairy tale or myth. Enjoy!!!
Little Jonny Corkscrew
Jonny corkscrew is my name,
Tickling folks is my game!
I’ll burn ya like a flame.
You’ll never put me to shame!
Go a head and take your aim,
The victory I will claim!
A haunting ghost I became,
When Hooks men gave me fame.
One simple nickname.
And I was amazingly aflame.
Hurrah!!! Hurrah!!! We exclaim,
Only the pirates life acclaim!!!
We will never be tame.
We will never be lame!!!
In the heart of battle proclaim,
Put fear in their heart. Inflame
The enemy!!! The mighty surname
Hook!!! Let it be in frame,
In a proud look never disclaim.
For we, his men overcame,
The blasted Peter Pan we declaim!!!!!

Love how you used the same rhyme for each line. I didn’t even know there were so many words with that rhyme. xD

Thank you! Hahaha I didn’t eithr but I used a rhyming dictionary since I had a list of about 7 words that rhymed already… I decided to see it I could make it work lol. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!! xD
