It’s once again autumn

It’s once again autumn
Listen to her hymn

Summer has come and gone
It all began at golden dawn

Fall adores her radiant sun
While children are having fun

Birds sing their lullaby
As earth starts to sigh

It’s once again autumn
Dance to her hymn

Before the winter begins
Look through her lens

See the forest on fire
The moment is dire

Everything is dying
Everything is crying

It’s once again autumn
Sing her hymn

Winter is coming
Soon it’ll be snowing

Soaking up the last amber light
As the chill consumes night

Autumn isn’t here for long
I’m glad we’ve learned her song

It’s once again autumn
