Hello my lovely friends. Enjoy today’s poem and illustration.

The Knowledge Of Everything

To understand everything
Is understanding nothing
Which is knowing something

So to learn everything
You must know nothing,
The knowledge of something

Therefore we all know everything
Meaning we understand nothing
Which is the knowledge of something

I hope you are having a wonderful day. [=

Little Dancer

Little dancer
Floating across the room

What must you feel
Weaving like an ancient loom

Full of grace
Transcending time and space

Strong bones
Long legs wrapped in muscle

Listening to tones
Of visual music

Spinning around
Until you hit the ground

We get lost
Deep within your laughter

Laughing is tossed
Aside. Tears begin to flow

Because one word
You heard from miles away

I spend ages
Rebuilding you. Wanting you to stay

But one day
You go only leaving your shadow

We put you
Into the cold hard earth

We sing your song
Because for you, we long

Little dancer
Why did you die?

Why did you
Give up over stupid words?

We see you
Walking around in business suits

But you killed
Something inside yourself

That day
You listened to what they say

Keep following your dreams. Keep doing every little thing that makes you, you!

The Things We do

A writer, writes
A singer, sings
They both do creative things

A runner, runs
A fighter, fights
They’re afraid of losing sight

We are more than the actions we do
But we are the actions too
We can do without becoming
But we cannot become without doing

I hope you are having an amazing day. ^_^

I love to travel back in time
To a place of magic and rhyme
A place where my childhood friends
Never change, not in looks
Because they live in books

Have a wonderful day full of magic, rainbows and starry nights.

Shadow Lady

The shadow lady
Stood tall at the end of earth

Calm, collected, poised and ready
She stood contemplating governmental birth

Looking on with wisdom
Watching battles turning to wars

She had once tried
But failed to stop them

From the edge
She watched in pain

Her people fighting
Once peacefully reigned

Over night
Everything lost light

Over nothing at all
They ran to their great fall

Wishing to heal
Wounds great and small

They kill each other
Brother against brother

The lady fades to nothing
But a cloud, smoke and dust

Leaving the fools
To do as they must

I hope you are having a good day. Keep smiling!!! =D

Shy Little Cat

Here litte Cat, little Cat
Come wear my hat

Here little Cat, little Cat
Come on the mat

Here little Cat, little Cat
I want to give you a pat

Here little Cat, little Cat
See, very still, have I sat

I hope you are having a fantastic day! [=

Hello my lovely friends. Today I would like to share a poem inspired by one of my college classes. Enjoy!

I guess I’ll pull back the curtains
I’ll let you see in

Look at my trophies
And the times I didn’t win

Because I couldn’t read properly
Until I was eight

But I didn’t let
That decide my fate.

I have watched my parents
Struggle for everything

We have today. I will
do the same thing.

I come from the bottom
I’ve done without

But that’s not
What this poem is about

I’ve been told in so many words
I’m stupid. I’ll never learn

I’ve cried when those
I’ve trusted turned

I have never let any of that
Stop me for long

I just stand up
And sing my victory song

I’m a fighter
I will not be held back

I will not let your words
Kill me, without tack.

I can see right through
The fake liars

You will never put out my
Passionate fires

I am a force to be
Reckoned with

The fact that I’m always
Sweet is a myth

Let’s move on to a
Good thing

I have been told
I can sing

I am creative and kind
I’m a pearl to find

I am the girl who
Couldn’t spell

But who writes
Pretty well

I’m the girl who doesn’t
Understand algebra

But who loved to be
In theatric drama

I am a good leader
Because I learned to follow

I am strong because
I’ve known great sorrow

So remember little one
Things aren’t as the seem

Never give up on a person
Or a big dream.

I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Keep smiling and never give up on your dreams!!!

The children of a fool…

Hello my lovely friends. Today I would like to share a poem I wrote awhile back about a foolish parent I saw in a store.

What they do will never matter
Because they never mattered.

Look up from your stupid devices.
They are only horrid vices.

Your kids want your time
Not silly money.

Stop being so selfish.
They don’t want a “prefect” parent.
Besides they already know you’ll never be one.

You’ll never notice when you stop picking up toys
Or when that man is one of your boys.

You don’t care and they know it.
You only care about your shares
The likes and pats you get from social media.

Why don’t you just turn it off
And listen to your kid.
They are trying to tell you
Before it’s all over.

They need and want your help
But they know you don’t care.
Because you never give them your time…
Your undivided attention.

And it pains me to watch…
Your kids zeal and spark
Die over and over again
And you silly goose are whining

Because you lost what mattered most…
But you never listen,
You only want happiness right now
You forget there’s a tomorrow

You silly fool!
I wish I could protect your children
Give them all the love they deserve
But I can’t…

I must watch and learn
So when it’s my turn
I will know,
Prayerfully not fall so low.

I watch you walk into the distance
Wishing I could nature
Your dear children.
Longing to see the spark in their laughter.

I love their sweet little faces
Having to grow up too soon
Not knowing what’s right
But only knowing wrong…

The poor children of a fool
They need lessons never taught in school
They need a whole life lesson box of tools
And a good counsel pool.

I sit thinking of the lesson learned today
Wanting every thing to stay
Put in my memory. I just need to pray
That I won’t be a foolish parent someday.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. Keep smiling, beautiful!!! 😊

Allie ❤

“We refuse to turn off our computers, turn off our phones, log off Facebook, and just sit in silence, because in those moments we might actually have to face up to who we really are. We fear silence like it’s an invisible monster, gnawing at us, ripping us open, and showing us our dissatisfaction. Silence is terrifying.”

#22 NaPoWriMo, Butterfly Fly…

Hello my lovely friends. Today’s challenge was to write something in honor of earth day. I will not get into why I am not comfortable writing about earth day but I did not follow that challenge. I instead looked for inspiration, I found it in a post by Miss Madi (aka Owly) about adulting and growing up. She really got me thinking about adulthood. Enjoy.

Butterfly Fly

I’m sick of this cocoon
I need to leave it soon

It’s thick walls of protection
Are killing my production

My passion has been caged
My creativity has been aged

I need to grow anew
Learning my worldview

Everything is blue
This one thing I know is true
Everything is new

So I will spread my wings
I will do many new things

I will learn to fly
I will touch the sky

You and I shall become
The beat of our own drum

We will fly so high
We’ll have to say bye

But we butterflies
Will learn to be wise

Everything is blue
This one thing I know is true
Everything is new

That is what we shall do
Change the world through

Loving kindness
It won’t be tearless

But it will be worth it
Just to be able to sit

And know the pain
Shame, hurt made plain

Seeing the strength in their eyes
Holding them, hearing their cries

That is how we will help heal
Their souls by praying as we kneel

Before God asking for salvation
healing and grace for the nation

Everything is blue
This one thing I know is true
Everything is new

I hope you enjoyed this poem, it’s my vision of my future, my adult life. It’s my greatest desire. I really want to see healing and peace for all people. It’s my greatest prayer. I hope your day has been well. Keep smiling, your smile is gorgeous. ❤
