Okay…

Hello my lovely friends. I’m sorry I don’t post more often… I truly miss having time to write. I must carve out some time to do so. Here is a poem I wrote the other day. Enjoy.

Okay…

i remember– acting
back in high school

the maiden- in a
3 hour play

masks, makeup and
costumes

lights, camera, action
the story of the day—

now– still acting
but it never ends

there are lines
i must say

no one seems
to realize

it’s masks, smoke
mirrors–

the story i create
reality stray—

ing far away
into a sea

of pain…
there i lay

dead— gone…
forever

my ghost goes on
acting— okay

I hope you are all doing well. Have a wonderful day.

My Happy Place…

Hello my lovely friends. It’s me again with another poem.

My Happy Place

The comfort of walls
Corners, close and
Tight

The warm embrace
Cuddling you though the
Night

The quiet peace
No one ever noticing you.
Right

Before their eyes
Invisible yet in
Sight

I hope you have been having the best day ever!!!!!

“Poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese.”
― G.K. Chesterton

I found today’s quote awhile back. It really got me thinking about what poets write about and why. I hope you found this cheesy thought as funny as I did. 😉

I am tagging:

Ms. Bernie

And

Mr. Fibit

Thank you all for stopping by. Have a wonderful day

Good days…

Hello my lovely friends, I wanted to share this haiku I wrote a few days ago after hearing someone say “I look for the good things in life because everyone else looks for the rare bad things in life.” Fun fact this is my very first haiku. I once wrote a “haiku” when I was in girl scouts but I got a bit confused and wrote a poem with 17 words instead of syllables! ‘-‘

Good days

Good days are normal
They pass by without notice
Good days are not rare.

I hope you are having a wonderful Monday! I know Monday’s can be a bit rough. Stay strong! Soon you’ll be having a cheerful holiday!!! ^_^ Don’t dwell on the bad days they truly are rare, God has given us thousands of things to smile about. Like sunsets and rainbows!

Feel free to like, share and comment. [=

Until we meet again my lovely friend,
Princess Allie ❤
