A new poem Yay!!! *happy dance* (= I got today’s inspiration from the night sky, new moon and dancing. I hope you enjoy, I had a blast writing it! ^_^

The lone Star (I’m a new photographer, I was so pound to have catch that one star in the night sky. LOL)

I sit underneath the new moon.
Dreaming of of the coming doom.
The moment they find out I dance all night in my room.
I can feel the embarrassment setting in and the anxiety loom.
I wonder what will be written on my tomb…
That’s when I hear a great BOOM!!!
I start to run, Zoom Zoom!!!
I run until I trip on a mushroom.
I listen. I watch. But for whom…
I wait. Think. Maybe running should resume.
I can’t believe this is the end… dying of thirst I assume.
Or drinking poisonous brew or smelling a witches perfume!
Insanity will follow I presume.
All this over dancing in my room!
That’s when I see a flying broom!!!
The night somehow darkens and fills with gloom.
While I look down on a dying bloom.
I fill with rage and begin to fume.
I won’t believe this ending, I haven’t gotten my groom!
All my anger starts flowing through a flume.
That’s when her words ring out like a KABOOM!
I fall to the ground wanting to vroom, vroom.
I wake with a fast beating heart, I am such a goon!

I hope you are all having an amazing Monday! Starting the week off fresh, new and clean with no mistakes in it! I’ll be back tomorrow with a new post! Have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hello guys! ^_^ I hope you are all having an amazing Monday! Well today I have a poem that will brighten your spirits! (Hopefully!) =D

The Sunrise

The Painting On The Wall

There are two paintings on my wall
I made them when I wasn’t very tall
When things of importance were small
Back when I lived to kick a soccer ball
And play outside within my mothers call

Now things are different from my childhood days
The simplicity of life’s magic still stays
I still love dressing up and acting in plays
And sometime even swimming in bays
Memories come flowing back of molding clays

Now everything is filled with anxiety and fear
We can never get close or hold loved ones near
Because we’re to busy to comfort their tear
We no longer have time to listen and hear
Am I the only one finding this queer?

I think we all need to take a look back
Before the days we started talking smack
That time long ago we played in an old shack
We kept all our treasures in a blue backpack
Long before we had our names in a plaque.

Yes, back to those days we played by the brook
And we read Grimm’s fairy tale book
Remember the time we played campfire cook
We still need the joy, playtime and cleaver look
We had on those adventures we undertook

I stare at the paintings made in my childhood past
And I realize it will be okay to finish last
To take my time, think, pray and fast
Smell the roses and have a blast
Because the wisdom I grain will be vast.

I hope you enjoyed the poem! I’ll see you again in a post tomorrow. (=

I wished upon a flying plane…

Hey, sorry it’s been so long… I’ll not make excuses I’ve just been unable to bring myself to write. It happens to every writer, we want to write something others will relate to and be true to ourselves, while keeping to a time line of due dates… You can’t rush art! 😉 Well today I’m hoping to make you laugh or a least smile at your screen.

I wished upon an airplane…
The city girl’s shooting star,
I was amazed, gazing at it from afar.
It kept coming towards me…
I began to tremble with fear,
I felt my heart beat in my ear.
No one even noticed…
Everyone was too busy!
The world is making me dizzy.
What would my last word be…?
Who would hear me call?
Will I be remember at all?
I hear it first, the sound shattering the night sky.
That’s when I realize it has wings and engines to fly.
I wished upon this “star”… A plane.
I was fearful in vain!!!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked up into the city sky to see the lights and planes. Cities have their own kinda of beauty, man made and sometime not very authentic, but still beautiful. I love the city and the countryside but what I love most about earth is all the people! I love people and how we think. I love how we can be strong when we’re very weak. I love how we connect… hahaha I just love people because they are like the stars, lighting this world with flames of hope, passion, grace and beauty! I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend!

Natural beauty.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalms 19:1 KJV

I was going through pictures a few days ago. I couldn’t stop thinking about the pictures from my trip to California in 2014. The beauty of California is majestic and breath taking. I miss waking up to it every morning.

CA 2014

  CA 2014

The sun rises in the east in beauty and grace

Her light comes across the plane at a stead pace

The maker of the sun watches over her and all the universe

I see the morning sky turn gold

I hear the birds sing bold

This is California’s farewell.

I turn one last time to my childhood homeland

I wave as I gaze upon her beauty grand

My heart will long for your shores until we meet again.

I hope to one day live in California but until then she will stay locked away in my heart and dreams. Everyone needs a place they love and call home. A place they always go back to. In the age of travel we need the sense of home, family, love and belonging. Finding the place you belong is part of growing up, knowing where you truly fit in. I encourage you to keep seeking that place of belonging if you’ve never found it.
