I run inside

In a sea of green
The one on the outside
Never even seen
He is stuck in the
Middle between
Everyone who is normal
And very mean
This little boy who
Is now a teen
Learning to hide things
Not seen as keen
Until one day he
Wakes up nineteen
Finding he doesn’t know
Himself, it’s all routine
Don’t kill the little
Red apple inside out
Forcing him to climb
When he’s made to shout
Let him be who he
