I think this quote embodies our day and age. This time in history. As teens, young adults and adults, we learn to be afraid of greatness. We learn to be afraid of pride and happiness. We learn to be afraid of power itself. But none of these things are bad. Being great isn’t bad, having power isn’t bad, having pride and happiness isn’t bad. It’s what we do with those things, our motives. Our selfishness and abusive actions are the evil. We need to stop allowing others opinions to sway our decisions. If we are born great, we need to use it to help others. If we achieve greatness, we need to use it to help others. If we have greatness thrust upon us, we need to use it to help others. It all starts with the heart, the mind and the will. When those things are pure and are passionate about helping, creating and serving. A golden age will ensue. A time and age, a history of seeking the great, the pure, the right and the Holy. To give greatness, to walk with greatness, to serve greatness. Titles and names are nothing. 11 Facts about me

1. I love creativity. Art, singing, drama (as in acting), painting, photography, writing, fashion, beauty… I love seeing ideas and passions expressed!!!
2. I love Psychology. (I once wrote a 30 page paper on typology in psychology.)
3. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of my favorite places in the world. ❤
4. I love aquatic animals! ❤ My favorites are Frogs, bottlenosed dolphins, orca whales and great white sharks.
5. My favorite book of the Bible is psalms.
6. I sang solo for the first time when I was 10/11.
7. I got my first job babysitting when I was 12.
8. My favorite color is blue but I love all colors.
9. I think it would be cool to live on a sailboat.
10. I want to start a youtube channel.

Questions from Owly

1. Who is your biggest role model?

My parents. Their are the strongest people I know. They have gone through things that would have broken me and yet somehow they are stronger for it. If I stop long enough to think about it… my brain just becomes overwhelmingly awed. They are the best parents ever!!! I love my family. ❤

2. Favorite Author?

Okay so this may seem odd. My favorite author isn’t the author of my top 5 favorite books. I know strange. My favorite author is Ally Carter. She is amazing. Every time I read one of her books it’s like being able to go back into my childhood. (Gallagher Girl series. It’s for middle grade, around 11-13 and up. Subjects include spies, boarding school, all girls academy, coming of age, honor, sisterhood, teamwork. Etc.) But honestly if I keep thinking about this question I’m going to have like 20 author names listed here. Oooh a close second is Anne Blankman. I love her Prisoner of night and Fog series. (More mature books just fyi like 15 and up. Subjects include mental illness, Hitler, WW2, war, spies, journalism etc.)

3. What is your favorite song?


I have no earthly idea… IT IS SO HARD TO CHOOSE ONLY ONE!!! If I could only sing one song for the rest of my life I would choose It is well by Philip P. Bliss… but if we are talking the song that’s my jam right now… Pocketful of poetry by Mindy Gledhill. I love both of these songs. I’m not choosing one favorite… I just can’t… *softly plays Kiss the rain by Yiruma* I simple can’t choose one song… _-_

4. Favorite Candy?

Cotton candy. I also like chocolate and marshmallows but right now cotton candy is my favorite. ❤

5. If you had to choose only 5 books you could read for the rest of your life, which would they be? (hard…I know)


You really do like to ask hard questions!!! For the rest of my life…? The Bible (KJV), The magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis, The Book thief by Markus Zusak, Our Town by Thronton Wilder and The invisible heart by Russell Roberts. Dude that was so hard!!! I’m already not someone who likes to read books more than once… Only 5 books for the rest of my life?!?!? These are solid choices that I think will carry me all the way until the end of my life. ^_^

6. Favorite animal?


I feel as though I have already kinda answer this question but Frogs are my favorite. ^_^ They are so cute!!! Sadly I was never allowed to have a dolphin or shark pet growing up… =_[ So frogs became my favorite. (I have had a few pet frogs over the years of my life. They are awesome!!!)

7. Pizza or Ice cream?


Well (all the hate is about to come) I don’t really like either. Part of it is I am gluten free and dairy free. And part of it is I am a bit of a picky eater. I prefer to eat lots of different fruits and veggies. So… Ice cream I guess. There are actually quite a few really good dairy free ice creams. =]

8. Where do you wish you could live?


LONDON ENGLAND!!! I would love to live there it’s so beautiful!!! I would love to be a makeup artist in London. And I would love to photograph all over the whole city!!! I’m dying to be able to go!!!

9. Fiction or Non-Fiction? Why?


I like both but I love realistic fiction. It’s so cool to imagine what the world could be or what we could do in the world. *sigh* But I also love nonfiction. I really enjoy business books, self help books and biographies.

10. Book you recommend to anyone?


Hahaha I have been recommending books left and right all through this post!!! 😉 But a book for all. A few come to mind but the one book (other than the bible) I would recommend to anyone is Oh, the places you’ll go by Dr. Seuss. Everyone should read that book!!! Young, old, boy or girl!!!

1. You’re on a deserted island, and you find a cave. What would you expect to find in it? 

Ideally I would find Jewels and become rich!!! And with my new found wealth I would feed and cloth needy children!!!!! But in reality I would find a bear…  😉

 

2. If you could have one superpower, which would you pick?

Oooh… There are so many good ones!!! I would want the power to heal people. Like I could think or look at them and heal them! Reading minds in second on my list. Then I could help remove evil people and help people understand each other and themselves!

 

3. What one song would you choose for the theme music for a movie about your life?

I have no idea… (O.O) Maybe You’ll Be In My Heart…? It would fit well so far… and it would fit well for what I want to do with my life. Hahaha but it’s not very theme songish!!!

 

4. You can only wear one color for the rest of your life. What color would you pick? 

This is so hard!!! I love a lot of colors!!! I also wear a lot of colors… D= I guess I would go with blue, gray or black. I’ve always loved wearing those colors… Oh you wanted me to pick one color… *sigh* Fine!!! =P Blue. There are enough shades of blue you can pretty much be ready for anything!!! You can wear a dark navy to formals, a bright baby blue to weddings, You can wear a sky blue to work. Yeah I think blue would work better than black or gray… You can do a lot with those colors but they are a bit more boring. Wow long answer for such a simple question! >.<

5. What’s one thing you want to do that’s wild, crazy, or unusual?

Never live in one place. I wouldn’t mind having a base camp but I don’t want to have a home town. I want the whole world to be my home and community. The nomad life for me!!! =D

 

6. If you had to give a speech to the whole world for five minutes, what topic would it be about?

Well 5 minutes is quite a long time… I don’t know if my message would be able to fill that much time. I would want to give a speech about Love, true Love, true selfless Love. I would talk about God’s love first, then talk about our need for love and lastly I would talk about loving each other unselfishly. Love is also something all people understand and want/need. I think it would be a wonderful topic to share with the whole world!

 

7. You get to have lunch with any three famous people, present or past! Who would you pick?

Ahhh!!! How do I decide?!?!? Paul, He was one of the first modern day missionaries. I would love to hear his personal stories and experiences. Benjamin Franklin, He was so wise and amazing, I would love to have him as a teacher or mentor but lunch will do!!! Lastly Robert Frost, He was a lovely poet and I love the way he saw the world. (and because I couldn’t just pick 3 people for a lunch party Dr. Seuss, Mimi Ikonn, Corrie Ten Boom and Betty Greene. Can we make this a week long retreat?)

 

8. What is your favorite smell, and why?

Honeysuckle. I just love it!!! I’m not totally sure why. I used to play with honeysuckle when I was younger but I have always love the smell. I also like the smell of food but I think everyone loves the smell of food!

How tall are you?

Really short… like a cute little bunny fairy!!! >^.^< I believe I was 5’4 last time I went to the doctor.. but my heals weren’t on the floor… SHHHHHH!

Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what is it?

hummm… Good question!!! Something most people don’t know is I am pretty good at baking (if I do say so myself!) something no one knows is I’m really good at reading peoples motives. I don’t usually talk about it… it can come across kinda creepy.

What is your biggest blog-related pet peeve?

As a blogger I hate finding typos or finding a post that wasn’t scheduled properly. As a reader I hate seeing an attitude of numbers and stats are greater than the people and relationships. I don’t mind someone asking for followers or likes but you can tell when that’s all they want and they lack a passion for their readers.

What is your biggest non-blog-related pet peeve?

Being ignored without reason. I would rather you tell me to go away and you don’t wish to speak to me than for you to passively tell me to go away with your body language.

What’s your favorite song?

This is so hard!!! My favorite hymn is It It Well. My favorite Christmas song is Mary Did You Know? by PTX. My favorite Disney song is You’ll Be In My Heart. But my all time favorite song is… Kiss The Rain by Yiruma. I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!!!

What’s your favorite Etsy shop that isn’t yours?

I don’t have a favorite. But I always browse the jewelry first! ❤ I love the cool jewelry people hand make, it’s so inspiring!!!

What is your favorite way to spend your free time when you’re alone?

Thinking, Dreaming, Baking, Reading, Listening to music, Watching my favorite Youtubers, Writing, Walking in nature, Singing, Playing Violin or Piano, Doing my Nails, Crafting and Yoga.

What’s your favorite junk food?

Lindor Lindt chocolate truffles (Oh my heaven in my mouth!!!) I really like chocolate covered pretzels too. Chips and salsa. OH and marshmallows!!! HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOWS!!!!

Do you have a pet or pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?

I have a dog and cat. Our Dogs name is Maddox and he is a Sheltie.  Our cats name is KitKatt and I have no idea what she is. We got her from the SPCA though!

Fiction: The Hunger Games trilogy Non-Fiction: The Bible (KJV)

What’s your favorite beauty product?

Oh this is so hard!!! I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Eyeliner or lipstick… I CANNOT DECIDE!!!

When were you last embarrassed? What happened?

I honestly have no idea… Oh yesterday! When I was taking a picture of someone’s tree and they caught me… I was sitting in our car waiting on my mom, enjoying the last of the fall leaves. I decided to take a picture of the tree because it was so beautiful. So there I was sitting all weird in the car seat trying to get a good angle…  When out walks said person to go about their normal life… I always feel so awkward we people catch me taking pictures. I do a lot of little embarrassing things, I don’t even notice them or care anymore.

If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Tea. I love tea!!! ❤ (and I only drink tea and water.)

What’s your favorite movie?

TANGLED!!!! The sound of music! Spirit!!! AND TANGLED!!!!!! 😉

What were you in high school: prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist, prep?

I have no idea!!! Mother..? hahaha I was always that friend who took care of everyone. (I still am.) I was also very much the artist/nerd/loner/leader  and I loved drama in high school!!! Theater is so much fun!!! ❤

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
London!!!!! I have wanted to live in London for years.

PC or Mac?

I don’t care as long as it works and it fits my lifestyle. I don’t know much about computers though.

I don’t know… Talk to me..? Hahaha that sounds really sad. I meant like talk about deep things and such. NOT JUST HELLO!!! xD

I have no idea… Does Carrie Hope Fletcher and Ally Carter count??? They are authors.  They are my favorite “famous” people!!! ^_^

What blogger do you secretly want to be best friends with?

Madi, Mei and Hailesea~  But I haven’t been totally secretive about wanting to be besties with some of these girls!!! 😉 I totally think we would all have a blast hanging out!!!
