It’s been a long time…

Hello my lovely friends. It has been two extremely long months since I last posted. I feel as though it has been an eternity not just two months. Let me know in the comments how you all are doing!!! Today’s post is about welcoming normalcy.

Since I hugged a true friend
Since I saw the actual end
Since I found a lonely dime

Since I sat down to write
Since I felt 100% right
Since family mealtime

Since I felt at home
Since I bathed in foam
Since I wrote in rhyme
It’s been a long time.

Since I wrote a blog post
Since I spoke with my subscribing host
Since I ate a lime
It’s been a long time.

It’s been a long time
Since my life rang with purposeful meaning
Since my soul was openly singing
Since I felt a calling sublime
It’s been a long time

I’m sorry I’ve been away for so long. Life has a way of forcing us to do things we don’t wish to do. It also has a way of changing our plans all around and turning us inside out! I wrote those Christmas poems I spoke of in my last post… I just never had time to post them until it was too late. I guess I have inspiration for next year!!! Over the next few weeks I have quite a lot of posts planned. There is a lot to look forward to. I hope you are having a wonderful day!!! ❤
